Expert diagnosis from foot & ankle specialists
Treatment options clearly explained
Solutions focused on long-term nail health
Toenail fungus often develops gradually and may worsen if it is not treated.

Common signs include:
Thickened toenails
Yellow, white, or discolored nails
Brittle or crumbling nail edges
Nails that appear damaged or distorted
Nail separation from the nail bed
Because fungal infections grow slowly, many people live with the condition for years before seeking treatment.

It's always a great feeling when you are witness to people who really like what they're doing. The staff here was all smiles and very approachable. Of course Dr. Rupley is great! I look forward to m my visits. Today I met Joy, assistant to the doctor. Whoever chose her name couldn't have been more correct! She really is a joy!

Today was my first visit to Canyon Oaks and I was very happy with the service I received! Dr. Ripley did an excellent job taking care of my reoccurring foot issues and explained the reasons it keeps coming back. Everything about my experience was positive and I highly recommend this office to anyone needing podiatry care!

Dr. Rupley is an excellent addition to Canyon Oaks. She brings much knowledge and experience. The staff is helpful and friendly. Treat them with respect and kindness, you will receive the same. I have my feet due to Dr. Rupley’s care throughout the years. Thank you It does help your case to follow the doctors advice and instructions. I had the misfortune of not following them and paid for it dearly, during an episode years ago.

The staff is amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in need. Dr. Nelson is hilarious. He did a great job removing my ingrown toenails and explained everything step by step. I had watched youtube videos on the procedure so I was a bit nervous upon arrival but I felt at ease within seconds of being under their care. They are fast, efficient, and again, super funny!

During your first visit, one of our foot and ankle specialists will evaluate your symptoms, review your medical history, and perform an examination of your foot or nails. Based on the diagnosis, we will explain the condition and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
Foot fungus, commonly called athlete’s foot, is a contagious skin infection caused by fungi that thrive in warm, moist environments like shoes and socks.
Foot fungus develops when fungi grow in warm, damp environments, such as sweaty shoes or locker room floors. It spreads easily through contact with contaminated surfaces, towels, or footwear.
Toenail fungus usually does not go away without treatment. The nail itself can block many over-the-counter remedies from reaching the infection, which is why professional treatment from a podiatrist is often needed.
Treatment depends on the severity of the infection and may include prescription medications, topical treatments, or advanced options such as laser therapy. Your doctor will evaluate the infection and recommend the best approach for your situation.
Our clinic offers convenient scheduling and strives to provide same-week appointments when available, so patients can get evaluated quickly and start treatment as soon as possible.
Ignoring foot fungus can allow the infection to spread and become harder to treat over time. A professional evaluation can identify the source and provide a clear path to effective treatment.
